Teaching
As a dance teacher, Adrian's teaching method includes both anatomy and biomechanics as well as alternative training forms such as somatic practices, yoga and pilates. His classes focus on variety of movement dynamics that are also rythmical and well structured.
Adrian Navarro's teaching has been influenced and inspired by various teachers such as Liz Toohey (Ex-principal dancer of the Australian Ballet & Pilates Teacher), Annika Berkson (Stockholm, David Howard's teaching methodology) and Wayne Byars (Paris, combining Alexander Technique and ballet). These mentors all found their own way how to include alternative training methods into Classical Ballet training.
Adrian's classes are challenging as well as being inclusive – artistic as well as being highly structured. Therefore dancers with any kind of backround and knowledge who have an interest in ballet – both as a way of training as well as a form of expression – can highly benefit from them.
